Bold In Black

Hi everyone!

I found the perfect black dress in Bebe recently! It has the best fit!, it's shaped perfectly for a smaller waist and bigger hips! My figure it's not really hourglass, but in this dress it actually looks it! Fitted dresses like this are usually loose in the waist and just tight everywhere else, but this one has that curve and that's why I love it!

This dress is ideal for a night out or for a dinner date! It's very sophisticated, but sexy at the same time! As the dress is quite simple, I decided to 'glam up' this look a bit with a sparkly clutch and a statement necklace! Those two looked great together!

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara - Review

Hi everyone!

I wanted to do a quick review on the New Benefit mascara - Roller Lash!
I got it recently and I have been using quite a lot. I must say I really like it! My lashes have been the worst they've ever been! Seriously I never had such short, sparse lashes before!. It's all due to wearing fake lashes almost everyday, I'm just addicted that's all I can say and I can't stop wearing them! I literally have no natural lashes now! - and no! - these lash serum growth things don't work on me. Trust me, I've tried them!

Anyway having said that, I still see a clear difference when I apply the mascara! It definitely curls the lashes and gives them a nice lift! However, when it comes to volume, you do have to put at least two coats to get it nice and thick. I really like the Hook 'n' Roll brush design, it grabs and separates the hairs really nicely while giving a great lift! - it's not too big which makes it nice and easy to apply, and it's perfect for lower lash line.
When I first tried the mascara I thought I liked it much more than 'They're Real', now I actually can't decide which one I like more! They are both good for their own reasons. If you want a nice lift and curl then go for this one and if you need more volume and length then 'They're Real' would be great. Or you could actually use them both and they will give you excellent results. Personally I always like to use lash serum / primer before, which gives a nice volume and extra length. I love the one from Dior! I will do a separate post on that and my favourite mascaras soon!

Overall I love this mascara and it does work! I actually don't use a lash curler because I'm too lazy to do so!, so this is a great way to get a nice curl without  use of it! Oh and I love the packaging!, it's so cute!

Caged Crop

Hi everyone!

I got this amazing crop top by 'The Kript' recently and have been obsessed with it ever since! It's very stylish and modern. I love the strappy detail! I seriously want this in every colour, especially white!

You can wear this crop top so many ways, and it will make every outfit stand out! Here I decided to pair it with a lacy pencil skirt. I've actually had that skirt for so long in my closet and never worn it! As usual I always forget what I have! For my accessories I went with a simple black pumps and my beloved gun clutch!

Something Casual

Hi everyone!

Here's a very simple and casual outfit that I wore yesterday for a day out. I love my blouses, so I wore my new blouse from Banana Republic. I really like the front panel, it's super classy and simple.
To make this outfit stand out a little bit, I decided to throw on these awesome print trousers from Topshop! They are quite old, but I still love them!

Friday Fragrance - Calvin Klein Euphoria Liquid Gold

Hi everyone!

For this week's fragrance I have something very different! This is a very strong oriental scent which I'm not really used to. I love my sweet, floral and fresh fragrances! Oud / Arabic scents usually give me a headache!, but this one surprisingly doesn't which is why I really like it!

It's very warm and spicy, quite masculine and woody. I would love this for Christmas season as it's great for colder weather and just reminds me of Christmas somehow! The main note is Cinnamon which is why it has that feel. Middle note is Black Orchid and base note is Sandalwood.

The lasting of this perfume is super long! and when it sets it has that very sweet sensual, mysterious feel, that's why I really enjoy it!

When it comes to the bottle I love the gold, but it's a bit too long for me and bulky. It kind of drives me crazy on my perfume tray and also it's very heavy so not very practical to travel with! But other than that, I love it!

Peach Melba

Hi everyone!

Orange/peach shades have been super popular lately. I think they are perfect for this season, I decided to create a perfect spring look using one brand only! Bebe to me has always been a great shop and I love to shop there, in my opinion they have the best pencil skirts and the sexiest blouses! I found the perfect peachy shade skirt that's great from day to night. They had a matching crop top, but I went with more of a day look and paired it with a white blouse. I love the detail on it! it's very elegant and classy.

For my accessories I found the perfect clutch that went hand in hand with my look! I also added nude strappy heels and some fun statement earrings!

Hope you like it and thanks for checking.

Bodycon Print

Hi everyone!

I love bodycon dresses! Today I'm wearing this very pretty print dress from Lipsy - Michelle Keegan collection! I love the colours and how it fits me. It doesn't have a very thick material, so it's great for the day and not too hot or stiff. I decided to keep it simple and add neutral accessories as always! For that pink 'pop' I'm wearing one of my favourite pairs of Ray Bans and a Swarovski ring!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit

Hi everyone!

Recently I got my hands on the famous Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit! I've been loving it so much so I had to do a quick review and show you the swatches.
I think this kit is perfect for beginners or those who love to contour. It has everything you need! Two lighter shades for that perfect highlight under your eyes and also a nice shimmery neutral colour for the highest points of your face. The three contour shades are so perfect, I used to use Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting powder in Medium, but I kind of like these shades a lot more! My favourite is Fawn and Java, the warmer tone (Havana) is also nice for those of you that have a more yellow skin tone. I just like to mix them all and I achieve a great result. I really love the fact that they blend very well and they look natural, without looking muddy or blotchy.

Best thing about this palette is the fact that you can take out the shades, refill them, or create your own palette with your desired colours. So it's very versatile and there is something for everyone.

Contouring your face is truly the best invention ever made! I remember when I only used foundation on my face, no bronzer, no highlight, no contour. I looked more chubby and with no real definition. I feel like when you do a full face of makeup or even very natural one, contour is super important, it defines your features and it just makes you look more attractive, slimmer and kind of like you've just had a plastic surgery!! That's what people like to say about me! ;)

For my contour I only use one brush and that is Nars ITA brush - the best contour brush I have ever used and so easy to get that perfect line. I recommend it to everyone!

Kim Kardashian Inspired Makeup - Turquoise Waterline

Hi everyone!

It's been a while since I posted a makeup look here on my blog. I do a lot on Instagram, but I really don't like how my camera takes pictures, it usually washes out the makeup and it doesn't show! - so that's why I always take pictures with my iPhone, which is why I don't post it here!
Anyway, this look was very simple and it didn't have much shadow, so it showed on the camera quite well. I got inspired by the makeup Mario did on Kim not long ago and I think it's so perfect for spring, it's very fresh and easy.

I used a gold shadow all over the lid, small natural lashes and of course the blue liner for the water line. I kind of felt like Barbi in this makeup! It was super simple but it really complimented my green eyes!

T-Shirt Flirt

Hi everyone!

Today I have a slightly different look to show you! I wore it yesterday and I actually really like it! It's a cross between sporty and sexy!
I got this very cute T-shirt from The Kript and I thought it would go so well with my cap, which has the same sparkly bit on it! For a girly touch I wore a plain black skater skirt, along with my fave heels and my gun clutch with a strap for that edgy touch!

Friday Fragrance - Chanel Chance Eau Tendre

Hi everyone!

It took me a while to like this perfume actually. Every time I smelt it in store I was like 'oh whatever' it smelt just ok. Now I really like it! and I feel it's great for every day wear, very fresh and feminine. It has that very soft and clean feel - super floral and fruity. The lasting is moderate I would say. I've been using it a lot lately and it doesn't give me headache like some perfumes do! It's not very sweet! and l'm more a sweet fragrance kind of girl! - but I still like it! But to be honest Coco Mademoiselle is still my first choice when it comes to Chanel Fragrances.

The main notes are grapefruit and quince which makes it very refreshing. Middle notes are jasmine and hyacinth. Base notes are musk, iris, virginia cedar and amber.

I also really like the bottle design as well. It's simple but crisp, just like the perfume!

Love for Shorts

Hi everyone!

I love wearing nude with a pop of colour. Recently I got these very cute shorts from Bebe. I was in love with the print when I saw it. It has that beautiful green, blue and yellow floral pattern, as well as a nude almost snake like animal touch. They have that Roberto Cavalli fee - 'Paradiso' perfume kinda!

When I wear shorts I either go for a blouse or blazer. Here I decided to go with a nude blazer that matched perfectly with the shorts! I also decided to throw a green vest underneath which matched up very well together. For my accessories I went with a nude bag and my brand new tribute sandals from YSL. These are the most comfy platform heels I own! I also added green Ray Bans and some Naaz London jewellery.

Hi everyone!

For the final day of the Fashion Forward event I decided to go a little bit shorter ready for an after party! ;)
I'm wearing this brand new playsuit from The Kript store, it's super short, but it has a loose fit which I really like! You know I love white! so this is a great summer piece for me!
I decided to go with gold accessories as that's my favorite and safest option! wearing my favourite gold bag from Octa and strappy gold heels from Dsquared2.

Fashion Forward Day 2 - Vintage

Hi everyone!

Here's my outfit from yesterday's Fashion Forward event. I went with a classic black pencil skirt and for that extra 'pop' I wore my vintage top, which I have never actually worn, because I wasn't really sure if I liked it! I got it in a vintage shop in the UK about 2 years ago! I really love the colour and it goes great with a pencil skirt.

Fashion Forward Day 1 - Stripes

Hi everyone!

Fashion Forward weekend has officially started here in Dubai. For the first day of this 3 day fashion event, I decided to wear this super cute dress from Zara. I usually don't like stripes!, but this dress really stood out for me and so I just had to get it! The waist area of this dress is loose, so I decided to wear this really versatile leather belt from Mango.

For my accessories, I went with a classy pump from Christan Louboutin and my favourite clutch from Vlieger and Vandam. I like the fact that you can put a strap with this clutch and then it's easier to wear - gives a more funky feel to the whole look!

Friday Fragrance - Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs

Hi everyone!

Here is my second post in my 'Friday Fragrance' series. From now on I will try to do these every week as I have a lot of fragrances that I would like to review and share with you.
This fragrance is super fruity and perfect for the day! It's actually eau de toilette but it lasts pretty well on me! It's very fresh and floral and I really like that, it really reminds me of Versace Yellow Diamond perfume. It's very sophisticated and refreshing!
I love the bottle design! it's so cute and gorgeous! Ideal to have on your vanity!
Top notes of this perfume are blackberries, pear and grapefruit. Middle notes consist of blue wisteria, jasmine and litchi. Base notes are white wood, musk and coconut.
I have a feeling this is a fragrance that I will probably wear quite a lot during summer days!

Purple Print

Hi everyone!

I love beautiful prints and when I see a scarf that has one I need it right away! Recently I found this amazing scarf that has a very Versace / Roberto Cavalli feel and it's super affordable from Mango! I seriously grabbed it fast when I saw it! and it was actually the last one in the store! The purple and green print is so gorgeous, such a perfect spring feel! I'm in love! this scarf is one of my favourites at the moment!

Because the scarf is the main focus of this look I decided to add a plain purple vest and white pants! I love this look - it's very comfy and great for the day! To match up with my scarf, I wore these very stylish strappy gold heels from Topshop!

Monochrome Day

Hi everyone!

Here's another one of my black and white ensembles! I can never get enough of black and white, I feel like is just timeless, classic and you can never go wrong with it!
For this casual day look I wore this very cool long blazer, which in fact is a blazer dress! It's slightly loose on me so I decided to wear it like this! I really like it! It's super stylish and classy. To give this look a small pop of colour I did my lips and nails red!
