I'm a huge foundation fan! I think that it's one of the most important products when it comes to makeup. I love trying new foundations and seeing what works best for me.
I wanted to try the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation for a really long time because I've heard a lot of good things about it! - I was just always lazy to find my colour.
Anyway while I was in UK, I finally got it! and I'm so happy I did! This must be the best full covarege and long lasting foundation out there! I couldn't belive how long it stayed! I usually have to touch up throughout the day, especially when I'm here in Dubai, as it's crazy hot and my foundation tends to be running down my face!!
This foundation claims to have 15 hours staying power and I totally agree. It actually stayed longer than that! Coverage on this foundation is absolutely amazing, and you can build it up without looking too cakey. When I wear this foundation my face is so flawless and all the imperfections are covered. I just want to use it everyday! although I mostly wear it on a night out, or when I go somewhere for a full day.
This foundation has a semi matte finish which is perfect for me as I have an oily T-zone. It blends very well and it looks quite natural considering how full coverage it is! - and it looks great on photos!
It has 10 SPF which is great for the day! I also like the fact that is oil free as well as fragrance free, so it's perfect for sensitive skin.
Over all I highly highly recommend trying it out! If you have problematic skin and need that good coverage and staying power, then this is the one! I still love my Chanel and Dior foundations, but this one is just on another level!
The shade selection is also amazing! I believe there are 31 different shades, so I'm sure there is something for everyone. My shade is 2C1 pure beige.
I know I'm quite late raving about this product! and I'm sure lots of you already know how good it is!, but I just had to share with you all, my absolute favourite foundation at the moment and the one that I can not live without! - that's for sure!
