I haven't done a review of any perfumes in a while here on my blog, so it's time to talk about my latest obsession! Marc Jacobs Decadence has been my 'go to' fragrance for about 5 months or so! I went to the official launch of it in Dubai, Adriana Lima the face of the perfume was there and it was such an amazing party and since that night I fell in love with the scent! I must say tough the unique bottle design is on point! I love it so so much, it's so glamorous, it has my favourite colour ( emerald green) and it looks like a mini handbag, what else can you want!
Now let's talk about the actual scent! I would describe it as extremely sexy, very mature, and just super sophisticated! Basically what I look for in a fragrance! I love to wear it in the evenings, because for the day it's a little bit too strong!
The top notes include Italian plum, Saffron and Iris. Middle notes are Bulgarian Rose, Sambac Jasmine and Orris root and at the base there is warm liquid amber, Vetiver and Papyrus root! Very interesting combo! It's super woody and powdery, but floral and fruity at the same time, such a unique and beautiful creation!
It's quite long lasting, but not to the point that you will have a headache which is great for me! Overall I tend to reach for this perfume more than any other one I own and I own more than 50! so I definitely recommend trying it out!
